Revision to Beneficiary Address Requirements for RMB Remittances to China via Global e-Banking

Dear Valued Customer,

In accordance with the requirements notified by Bank of China Taipei Branch, effective October 27, 2026, customers making RMB outward remittances to China via Global e-Banking will be required to provide complete beneficiary address information, including Street, Town/City, and Country. Transactions that do not comply with this requirement may not be accepted.

If you have scheduled any RMB remittance transactions to China with a payment date on or after October 27, 2026, please review your scheduled transaction details as soon as possible and ensure that the beneficiary address information has been fully completed. If any required information is missing, please cancel the original scheduled transaction and create a new one before the effective date to avoid any impact on your payment processing.

For scheduled transactions that are not updated, the remittance may be rejected by an intermediary bank or the beneficiary bank due to incomplete beneficiary address information and may subsequently be returned. In such cases, customers will be required to submit a new remittance transaction.

Should you have any questions, please contact your Relationship Manager or our Corporate Banking Service Hotline at +886-2-2191-1005 or +886-800-588-800.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
